Our friend Bert the Turtle -- redux -- in a new feature film: "Duct Tape and Cover."

It was inevitable that someone would do this cartoon -- after all, duct tape and plastic sheeting is about as effective as ducking under a school desk.

I still remember our Tuesday morning air raid drills at the National Cathedral School in Washington, D.C. And standing in the halls against the cinder-block walls, or in the basement "shelter." Then there were the full-out evacuations when there were bomb threats during the later 1960s -- but that's another story for another day....
